Synthia 3.0 is the world's first bacteria created by scientists from artificial genetic material.

SYN3A (pronounced Synthreea) is also the name of a new music & arts project that will be launched for the first time in 2017. With alternating impulsive and gentle lyrics, sung and spoken in Spanish, German and English, SYN3A’s songs tell stories of departure, flight, imprisonment, experience in a new homeland. The lyrics of Otto Oscar Hernandez Ruiz float impulsively, inviting and gently comforting on top of symphonic synths and dark dystopian acid lines by Mandy Mozart.

Mandy Mozart is also programming software amongst other things. Otto Oscar Hernandez Ruiz is both a visual and performance artist. The duo first connected at Bauhaus in Weimar. SYN3A is now based between Berlin and Vienna and is an evolution from the experimental electronic band Cindy Sizer (2006-2016) which included Thomas Prestin and Janik Hotz.
